Kaelyn Ryan not only interviewed me on her “Next Up” series which allowed me to highlight my career and what I’ve already accomplished in my time in the fashion industry, she also documented my event titled COLLAB! Kaelyn captured the true essence of my event and was able to bring what happens behind the scenes to life! She condensed 4 HOURS of shooting into a quick 10minute exciting and informational documentary of what COLLAB is and why you’d want to be there. Both the interview and documentary she orchestrated brought great exposure to my brand! She was professional and very accurate with her turnaround time which is hard to come by these days. I’m grateful for the opportunity to work with her and I’m looking forward to hiring her for my next project! Trust me SHE’S WORTH IT! Complete FIVE star rating!

My next up experience was dope ! Kaelyn gave me an opportunity to show my world without being intrusive , more so letting me be me. She had a structure and outline already prepared so the process was seamless. The production gave me a perspective of what my program looks like on the outside, from a consumer point of view , something you can’t really get from verbal feedback or pictures alone. I would definitely recommend this process to others.

My time on “NEXT UP” was very fun and exciting. To be able to come on a show where both the host and guest are aspiring creatives, to me was very honorable. My experience with Miss Kae felt internal yet free. I liked the questions that were asked and the atmosphere allowed me to be very expressive about myself and why I love to do what I do. As far as being interviewed, it was another great opportunity to extend who I am to others so they can get a surface about me. It set an experience for me because it exposes how effective I am in engaging with the host and a potential audience. Which is why I would recommend this platform for all creatives because it’s so good for those who follow them to get an insight of who they are and the behind the scenes of their everyday craft. As a creative, you never really know who you end up inspiring or influencing. Instagram is like your resume/portfolio of your work so ...it’s a great way to show yourself through your creativity.

I enjoyed my time being on “Next Up” with Kaelyn. I had a great time going over different topics about myself and my plans for the future. I’ve known Kaelyn since freshman year of college, so I immediately felt super comfortable talking with her in front of the camera. This interview definitely impacted me because it gave me the opportunity to put myself on a platform and showcase my talents to an entire audience. My first time being interviewed about my talent was on “Next Up”. The interview was light, fun, and also extremely informative. Being on “Next Up” was truly an enjoyable experience that allowed me to introduce my talents and myself to the world. I truly enjoyed myself while being interviewed. Kaelyn was professional from the moment she reached out to the end of the interview. If her set-up was a style of clothing, I would say it was business casual. The environment was very professional, but Kaelyn’s energy created a lax ambiance that allows you to be nothing but your authentic self. This interview honestly gave me a sense of reassurance. We live in a society that expects so much of you that when you are doing well or building yourself up, you don’t even realize it. I recommend “Next Up” to everyone!

I felt like that interview gave proof that what I do is needed in this world & that there are people who are supporting me/what I do. My experience on Next Up was amazing. It was validation for all the things I’ve done that I don’t necessarily praise myself for and it felt good to be recognized and interviewed. The host was amazing and the questions were detailed and tailored to me and what I have going . They didn’t feel generic or one size fits all. Being interviewed allowed me to feel seen and like the work I am doing is important. I really enjoyed myself during the Next Up Interview. I felt very comfortable during the Interview as Kaelyn made everything easygoing. She made it where there was not too much pressure; if we messed up we could start over and she also talked us through the Interview. We were able to be ourselves during the interview which was very cool. I really did enjoy myself in the Next Up video it was such a fun and pleasant environment. Kaelyn really makes every guest feel relaxed and welcome to the show. As host she is funny and makes sure the questions are relatable to the person's life and make it entertaining at the same time no matter the subject matter. The interview impacted my life by definitely reaching out to more people in the Black community at CSUN that weren’t aware of Black Student Union. It let them know who the President of the organization was and also all the hard work that I put into the organization to make it run. I would definitely recommend somebody going on her show, it was such a great experience, something I would love to do again when I accomplish more of my goals later on in life.
